Music

As well as building robots i also play a lot of music. I’m currently a artist looking to find a place in the “music biz” but there are some encouraging signs. I play several instruments including but not limited too: Guitar, Bass, Keyboard and Ukulele. I am currently in the midst of writing and recording a solo album at my dad’s studio in London, as well as my new Home studio. Whilst I’m doing that i like to keep myself busy with a band called “Reflection” which is a band made up of Myself, Reid Cox, Jasper Rose, Conner Pattison and Nathan Gane. The band is in its early stages so dont expect content for a while.

For a short amount of time i was the on-and-off bassist for a band called “Day of the penguin” which was made up of myself, Theo Shield, James Upton and Jake Goodyear. I was never really happy with how our work turned out nor the fact certain members treated others as “disposable” (There was a series of Bassists/Drummers before they settled on myself and Jake). My solo music is going up on YouTube VERY soon, music videos are being created with the help of several people who know how grateful i am for all their time and effort. My music ATM is in a rather basic form so i am always trying to improve and expand my Fanbase (Fanbase, what Fanbase?!) without going completely mainstream and boring (as so many musicians do). I don’t limit myself to a certain Genre so as such I would describe my music as varied. Sometimes i do rock and sometimes i do more mellow Acoustic songs , but i always try to do the best i can with what i have.

Recently i was lucky enough to inherit several bits of recording equipment through my dad, who is moving studio’s. This includes: a MBOX 2 MIDI box, a RODE NT1-A Microphone, a Mic stand/Pop, a MIDI Keyboard and Logic Apple Pro 9. This is great but takes up alot (and i mean ALOT) of space in the shed which means I’m having a bit of a crisis on which deserves more room, Robots or Music! I’m trying to keep the best of both worlds….
