how to build a featherweight robot

a featherweight robot (1 to 13.6kg) is one step from antweights, they need a certain amount of skill to build but alot of people enter robotics through this weight class. they run at most heavyweight events, and even have their own events sometimes, so here is my guide to building a basic featherweight robot!

as always with combat robots we must follow the rules set for us by the FRA (fighting robot association) the basic rules of featherweight robots are that all robots must weigh between 1 to 13.6kg’s and have a removable link and a power LED for safety reasons.
